There are few in the world that truly do what they love, not only on their days off, but also during their work week.  This can be a difficult feat to make ends meet.  Sacrifices must be made, but those sacrifices pay off big in a completely non-monetary way. 

Fly fishing can become an obsession that has no cure, and those with it, don’t want to be treated.  And for good reason.  Fly fishing connects you with the fish and the environment you’re in, you really become one with the fish.  There is nothing else like it.

I can honestly say that fly fishing is a huge part of my life.  I count the days till my next day off to go fish.  Traveling abroad to fish has recently become one of my favorite things to do.  Catching a new species of fish is like catching your first fish ever because it is something you’ve never caught before.  Being able to achieve that feeling again and again is remarkable.  Any travel I do in the future, will definitely be with several fly rods.
